Arm your child with another awesome adult to provide support, encouragement, and friendship. Life is can be hard - we all experience ups and downs, and we know the more people you have in your corner, the better. We’d love the opportunity to provide your child with another positive, adult role model to help them ignite their own potential.

Big Brothers Big Sisters of Greater Cleveland serves children and teens who want a mentor in their lives. We match Littles, aged 8-17, with Bigs in a one-to-one mentoring relationship. Bigs and Littles hang out at about four hours each month doing normal, everyday activities, like going to see a movie, playing games, going out to eat, or just hanging out!

With a Big in their life, children and teens in the BBBS program are empowered to ignite their potential as they grow in their self-esteem, earn better grades, and develop a lifelong friendship with their Big. Our dedicated Match Support Specialists are always there for you and your child to provide personalized resources and support.

If you are interested in enrolling your child in our program and live in Cuyahoga County, please read the following enrollment steps:

ENROLLMENT PROCESS FOR FAMILIES:

1. Submit your online application (below).
   If you would like to enroll multiple children, just notify our staff when they follow-up with you.

2. Participate in a one-on-one phone call with a BBBS staff member so we can learn about your child.

3. Schedule a Zoom video chat for your child and a BBBS staff member. Following this call, BBBS will reach out to the Parent/Guardian to share if we feel this is a good fit.

4. Approved? Get matched with a Big (with your approval).

5. Meet your Little’s Big in a Match Introductory Meeting via Zoom, run by a member of our staff.

6. Make plans for your first outing together as a match!
